All Decked Out For Christmas
Hello, and Merry Christmas! Gary and Dodge and I (The Three Camp-A-Teers) are spending Christmas this year at Paynes Prairie Preserve in Micanopy, FL. This is our favorite inland Florida State Park, and a place we are VERY familiar with. We were here a month ago, but only for one night as we traveled from Georgia to further south in Florida. This time, we will be here for six nights. I don't know about you, but I LOVE Christmas. Unfortunately, Gary is not a fan. He lost his Mom to cancer many years ago just before Christmas, so the holidays for him are sad. Our house is never decorated. There is no tree. There is no Christmas music. Even though Gary would rather speed through this time of year without so much as a mention, he always tries to make things nice for me. This year, I was SO surprised to see bags full of decorations, all of them bought specifically for me. 200 LED lights, 36 feet of rope lights, red and silver (my favorite colors) garland, a wreath, and even little jingling bells on my door knob. He went all out, and he spent several hours this afternoon making me look festive. I am THRILLED, and I am not only the oldest trailer here at Paynes Prairie, I am also the most decorated. Pretty cool, huh? I don't think I'll ever be able to get Gary to like Christmas, but that's okay. I totally understand why he feels the way he does. I'm just thankful that he loves me enough to put his feelings aside, and made this Christmas a special one that I will never forget. I am TRULY blessed, not just today but everyday. Happy Holidays, my friends, and may 2017 be your best year ever. Peace and Love, Toaster.

Sebastian Inlet Squirrels
Everybody knows how much I LOVE squirrels. They are the cutest little critters on the planet. There are certain parks that we go to that have a lot of my furry little friends, and Sebastian Inlet is one of those places. During our recent seven day stay, the squirrels constantly came by for snacks, and we had a constant supply of peanuts to keep them happy. They got so used to being fed, that they were eating right out of Gary's hands by the end of our stay. It was SO much fun! It's often hard to take pictures of our fast-moving little buddies, but Gary got some good ones, and here are my favorites. Enjoy!
