This was day number three here at Wekiwa Springs State Park. After being gone all day yesterday exploring the park and taking pictures, Gary hung out with me all day today, and finally got around to vacuuming my dirty floor and polishing my stainless steel countertop. I look pretty good, and it's a good thing. Late today, we had company stop by for a visit. It was great to see our camping pals Karen and Meghan again. As you may recall, they own the pink Scotty Hilander that is featured (along with myself) in Paul Hecht's book about Serro Scotty travel trailers. They live in this general area, and didn't only stop by for a visit, they came by with gifts as well. They brought us a little sign that says Santa Stop Here, a red sequined Christmas tree, and cupcake snowmen. How thoughtful and generous is THAT??? We camped with Karen and Meghan at Weeki Wachee Springs in October of 2012, but haven't seen them since. It's been way too long. They are fun girls to hang out with. They visited with us for a couple of hours, and we enjoyed every minute. Hopefully we will camp together again very soon. Thanks for coming by to see us, Karen and Meghan, and thank you SO much for our festive Christmas gifts. You girls ROCK!!!
