Good Day Sunshine

For the first time in eight long months, I escaped the four walls of the Green Acres Garage. The air was sweet, the blades of grass between my tire treads felt SO good, and the sky has never looked so blue. The last time I was outside the garage, I was ashamed of how I looked. But thanks to Gary, I felt even better than that day in 1972 when I rolled out of the Ashburn, Georgia factory. Later that day, the van and I got cleaned, and then the packing for our latest adventure began. I rolled back into the garage that night feeling totally refreshed, and knowing that in less than a week, we would be on I-75 heading north. I had never been so excited in my whole life!
